1876-S $20 MS62 NGC. Block S. Light yellow-gold color and reflective, semiprooflike fields are the hallmarks of this Uncirculated San Francisco double eagle. Sharply struck throughout, each side shows minor chatter that explains the MS62 grade. This issue claims an average certified assessment between AU55 and AU58, and examples are scarcely seen finer than this.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26AX, PCGS# 8978, Greysheet# 9925)
