Description
Attractive Gem Proof 1859 Indian Cent
1859 1C PR66 NGC. Much of the original whitish copper-nickel surface still remains, but each side also displays a bit of light red patina that adds even more to the charm and originality of this important, high grade example. The surfaces are, of course, unhairlined and there are no obvious contact marks on either side. The only ripple in the coin's surface is a very shallow planchet flake below the right side of the M of AMERICA. Outstanding quality.
