1873-CC T$1 FS-301, Coxe-5, Misplaced 7, Close CC, AU50 PCGS. A Challenge 50 Set Variety. The top of a 7 is misplaced in the dentils below the 7 in the date. The 1873-CC is the second-rarest business issue in the Trade dollar series, behind only the 1878-CC. This lightly circulated example has a cream-gray obverse with a peripheral blush of autumn-brown toning. The reverse exhibits rich russet patina. The field near the beak displays moderate marks.
