Description
1794 1C Head of 1794--Corroded--ANACS. VF Details, Net Fine 15. S-29, High R.2. Both sides exhibit competing shades of reddish-brown and gray-brown colors. The surfaces may have been cleaned and retoned long ago, but this is still a relatively attractive example with bold overall definition over the obverse portrait and an expertly centered reverse impression. The surfaces are slightly pitted, but the corrosion is anything but excessive.From the Ohio Collection.
