Gem 1903 Double Eagle
Only Three Finer Coins at PCGS

1903 $20 MS65 PCGS. The 1903 Liberty double eagle was produced in large quantities, making the issue readily available in lower Mint State grades. The issue is a prime condition rarity above the Gem level, however. This delightful Gem exhibits sharply detailed design elements, vibrant mint luster, and pleasing yellow and greenish-gold surfaces, with highlights of rose. PCGS has certified only three coins in higher numeric grades (4/12).(Registry values: N2998)
