Description
Impressive Jefferson Nickel on Cent Planchet
1998-? 5C Jefferson Nickel--Struck on a Cent Planchet--MS64 Red and Brown PCGS. A beautiful fire-red and ruby example of this scarce wrong planchet error. Well struck in the centers, with essentially full steps, but slightly uncentered such that E PLURIBUS UNUM and the mintmark are off the flan. The reverse has an orange-peel texture, as delivered by a worn die. From The Bellaire Collection, Part Two.
