Choice AU 1852-D Gold Dollar
Sole CAC Seal for Grade
1852-D G$1 AU55 NGC. CAC. One die pair is known from the low
mintage of 6,360 pieces. A caramel-gold Dahlonega representative
with attractive surfaces and plentiful peripheral luster. Well
struck save for blending on the forehead curls. The only CAC
example at the AU55 level. CAC has certified only four examples of
this issue in all grades (8/12).From The William R. Green Collection.(Registry values: N1793)
