1881-CC $10 AU58 NGC. Variety 1-A. The borders display a
broad band of luster, and the eagle and portrait also shimmer with
luster. Rich butter-gold toning adds to the appeal. Moderate marks
are inconspicuous beneath the original patina. Just 24,015 pieces
were struck.Ex: Baltimore Signature (Heritage, 7/2003), lot 10459, which realized $1,955; FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2012), lot 6529.(Registry values: N1793)
