Description
"1783" Washington UNITY STATES Cent Fine 12 PCGS. Baker-1. Struck around 1820 by James Kean of Philadelphia. Worn by years of friction, probably from having been carried as a pocket piece, the olive-brown surfaces show deep, parallel laminations from having been struck from defective planchet stock. Listed on page 59 of the 1999 Guide Book.
