Attractive Premium Gem Proof 1868 Two Cent Piece
1868 2C PR66 Red and Brown PCGS. Ex: Eliasberg Collection. Sharply struck, this attractive Premium Gem displays the typical rich coloration of its type, in variations of blue, tan, and magenta, along with moderate reflectivity from the proof fields. Diagonal die striations reside between the vertical shield lines, and there are no visible spots on either side. Population: 5 in 66 Red and Brown, just one is finer in the same color, at PCGS (11/07).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 274X, PCGS# 3637, Greysheet# 2733)
