Description

1903 Five Dollar, MS65+
High-End CAC Example

1903 $5 MS65+ PCGS. CAC. Most Uncirculated 1903 Philadelphia half eagles grade in the MS62 to MS63 range. The date is elusive in MS64, and borderline rare in MS65. This is one of just two Gems at PCGS with a Plus designation. Frosty peach-gold mint luster adorns a sharp strike and largely pristine fields, with outstanding eye appeal. Population: 34 in 65 (2 in 65+), 17 finer. CAC: 11 in 65, 2 finer (12/24).(Registry values: N2998)
