1913 Indian Five Dollar, MS65
Condition Rarity
1913 $5 MS65 NGC. The high mintage 1913 Indian half eagle is
conditionally rare in MS65 as are nearly all examples of this
series. For all 24 issues of this coinage type, NGC has certified
just 682 submissions in MS65 or better grades out of more than
131,000 submissions in all grades. The 1908 and 1909-D issues are
the only dates with more than 100 NGC certified Gem examples. This
lustrous and sharply struck Gem features brilliant butter-yellow
surfaces and excellent eye appeal. Census: 46 in 65, 5 finer
