1854 Round Quarter, MS64
Scarce BG-216, Liberty, Wreath
1854 25C Liberty Round 25 Cents, BG-216, R.6, MS64 PCGS.
Breen-Gillio Die State I. The sole 1854 round Period One Liberty
quarter variety. The green-gold surfaces are semiprooflike and
unblemished. The strike is good, though the legends and portrait
appear incomplete due to die lapping. BG-216 is scarce, and a
majority of certified examples are in MS61 through MS63 grades.
