Description

1881-S Dollar, Outstanding MS68

1881-S $1 MS68 NGC. CAC. The 1881-S is the commonest Mint State Morgan dollar of the 1878-1904 era. That said, near-pristine examples such as this occur only infrequently. Stunning luster endows the untoned surfaces and the design elements are sharply defined. An immaculately preserved specimen with outstanding eye appeal, and well deserving of CAC endorsement.
