1917-D 50C Reverse MS64 NGC. Jeff Ambio says the 1917-D Reverse Mintmark half dollar is the fourth rarest date in the Walking Liberty series in high grade. The present specimen has a decent strike,with much detail emerging on the central devices. The surfaces show satiny mint luster under lovely iridescent gold, lavender, and blue toning. Census: 96 in 64, 22 finer (12/08).(Registry values: N2998)
