Description
1970 No S Roosevelt Dime, Extraordinary and Unique PR69 Cameo PCGS Grade
1970 10C No S PR69 Cameo PCGS. This untoned example is knocking on the door of a perfect rating. There is not a single outwardly noticeable blemish, nor can we find any toning of note. Pleasingly contrasted, and the single finest PCGS-certified specimen with either a Cameo or Deep Cameo designation (1/03).Collectors first reported the discovery of this Mint error on January 6, 1971. Just shy of two months later, Mint officials admitted that 2,200 1970 No S proof Dimes had been produced from a single set of dies. The coin in this lot is certainly one of the finest survivors.
