Description
Near-Gem 1895-S Twenty
1895-S $20 MS64 PCGS. Peach, orange, and lime shades ensure the originality of this lustrous and precisely struck double eagle. The obverse field is unusually smooth and only wispy marks on the cheek and beneath the left (facing) wingtip preclude an even finer grade. Very difficult to acquire above the MS64 level. From C.R.B.'s $20 Liberty Set.(Registry values: N2998)
