1805 1C XF45 PCGS. S-267, B-1, R.1. An early stage of Breen Die State II, showing faint clash marks at the throat and ribbon. The smooth, medium walnut-brown surfaces are choice on this well detailed, eye-pleasing Draped Bust large cent. One faint thin mark above CENT, and a minor reverse edge nick at 5 o'clock. MRB VF30. Population: 11 in 45, 38 finer (8/09).Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2008), lot 207, which realized $1,610.(Registry values: N991)
