Among the Finest Certified
1949-D 50C MS66 Full Bell Lines PCGS. The 1949-D Franklin
half dollar tends to be a well-struck issue. Consequently, the
certified population in high grades includes several thousand Full
Bell Line coins through the Gem level of preservation. The FBL
population drops precipitously in the lofty grade of MS66, however.
Indeed, PCGS and NGC have graded only 35 such Premium Gems.
Lustrous surfaces display accents of forest-green and reddish-gold
at the margins. Exceptionally well-preserved. Population: 31 in 66
