Not Sold Description
1868-S 10C AU58 PCGS. Fortin-101. This issue is scarcer than its 260,000 mintage might indicate. Indeed, our records show that since 1973, only 17 specimens ranging in grades from Fine 15 through MS67 have been offered for sale by the major auction houses (some of these, of course, may have made more than one appearance). This example offers light gray-beige patina and nice remaining luster. The design features portray excellent definition, and the clean surfaces display no mentionable abrasions. Population: 2 in 58, 15 finer (3/05).From The Tim Cook Collection of Liberty Seated Dimes.(#4648) (Registry values: N491)
