Description

1833 10C MS62 NGC. JR-1, R.3. An intermediate die state with three slender die cracks on the reverse but no rim breaks. Lovely orange-gold and ruby-red colors frame the lavender-tinged centers. Extensive bright luster and an exquisite strike combine with unmarked fields for imposing eye appeal. A few nearly invisible slide marks on the chin limit the grade. As of (3/04), the only JR-1 certified as such by NGC in Mint State.(#4522) (Registry values: N1793)
