1896-S $1 MS65 Paramount (MS63 NGC). Ex: Redfield
Collection. Freckles of golden-brown toning adorn the peripheries
of this otherwise brilliant better date Morgan dollar. Lustrous and
nicely struck with clean fields and scattered small facial marks.
Despite a mintage of 5,000,000 pieces, the 1896-S is surprisingly
