Description

1893 10C PR66 NGC. Both sides of this lovely proof are enveloped by medium-intensity cobalt-blue patina, that is joined on the obverse by magenta and medium gray colors on the motif. The design elements are exquisitely defined, befitting a proof striking. The well preserved surfaces are seemingly devoid of any mentionable contact marks. A mild cameo-effect results from the contrast between the lightly frosted devices and the reflective fields. Population: 45 in 66, 27 finer (3/05).(#4877) (Registry values: N1793)
