Low-Mintage, Rare in All Grades
1869 $10 XF45 PCGS. The 1869 Liberty eagle boasts a
minuscule mintage of 1,830 pieces, making the date rare in all
grades. The PCGS website suggests that 60 to 75 examples are known.
The semiprooflike fields and motif interstices tend to highlight
the well-defined design features of this Choice XF specimen. Minute
distributed marks are visible over each side. Housed in a prior
