1907 Eagle, Intensely Lustrous MS65
1907 $10 MS65 NGC. CAC. The 1907 Liberty eagle is much more difficult to locate in high grade than the large mintage of 1.2 million pieces would suggest. Indeed, NGC and PCGS have graded only about 100 examples in MS65 and a mere six finer. Intense luster emanates from the apricot surfaces that exhibit bold design elements. A few minor marks likely prevent an even finer grade. Census: 85 in 65 (2 in 65+), 6 finer (12/13).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2688, PCGS# 8763, Greysheet# 9428)
