27.37-Ounce San Francisco Mint Silver Ingot
Ex: Harmer Rooke
Undated San Francisco Mint Silver Ingot. 27.37 Ounces. This
hefty ingot bears the oval imprint of the San Francisco Mint.
Several small gas bubbles are scattered over the top side, but do
not interfere with the legends. The top side has the mint's oval
imprint deeply impressed at the top, followed by 1345, the weight
is next at 27.37 OZS, and then the fineness expressed as 999.75
FINE. The number 164 is seen on the lower short side. The only
other item of numismatic interest is an old Harmer Rooke Galleries
sticker on the back. The top side is bluish-silver, the back side
barely toned. The ingot measures 57 x 89 x 13 mm.
