Off Center XF Details 1826 Cent
1826 1C --Struck 5% Off Center--XF Details, Corroded, NCS. N-7, R.1. Struck off center toward 2 o'clock, pushing much of AMERICA off the flan. Perhaps closer to 10% off center than the 5% designated by NCS. Several of the stars exhibit centril definition, and the hair is distinctive, but the crusty tan verdigris is often extensive. Off center Large Cents from this era are infrequently encountered.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 225G, PCGS# 1645, Greysheet# 934)
