1846-C $2 1/2 --Whizzed--ANACS. AU Details, Net XF40. Moderate wear, but moderate abrasions for the amount of circulation this coin has seen. There is some roughness near the date, likely from a poorly prepared planchet. The surfaces have the appearance of a flat but deep yellow color. This is an important date, with a mintage of 4,808 coins, an estimated 40 to 45 of which may have survived.
