Broadstruck 1913 Buffalo Nickel with Straight Clip
1913 5C Type Two Buffalo Nickel--Broadstruck with Straight Clip--Obverse Improperly Cleaned. Unc Details. NCS. This is a centered broadstrike with a straight clip at 12 o'clock, affecting the top quarter of the coin. The surfaces have light gray color with splashes of golden toning. The obverse has noticeable hairlines from improper cleaning or drying. This coin is plated on page 22 of David Lange's reference on the Buffalo Nickels.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 22PZ, PCGS# 3921, Greysheet# 3078)
