Description

Fully Struck Gem 1933-S Half Dollar

1933-S 50C MS65 PCGS. The 1933-S Walking Liberty half dollar is a popular issue, distinguished by its status as the last before the (long) "short set" begins. Low-grade circulated coins are common, Gems much less so. This is a lovely silver-gray piece with copious satin luster and a full strike; a clear split thumb is visible without magnification. The details on Liberty's head and the eagle's trailing leg on the reverse are also remarkably vivid.(Registry values: N2998)
