1797 Large Eagle Ten Dollar, AU 55

1797 Large Eagle AU 55 PCGS. B. 2-B. This variety is characterized by the cross star arrangement on the reverse and die crack through the second 7 in the date. The orange-gold surfaces retain much of the original mint luster, especially surrounding the devices. The surfaces overall are quite clean; however, in the center of the reverse there are four rather deep adjustment marks which detract somewhat from the attractiveness of that side.
