Uncirculated Off Center 1928-S Dime MS63 Full Bands NGC
1928-S 10C Mercury Dime--Struck 15% Off Center--MS63 Full Bands NGC. Blushes of mauve color enrich this lustrous and well preserved example. Struck off center toward 6 o'clock, the date is partly off the flan although enough of the digits are present to confirm its status as a 1928-S. The lower reverse has a raised flange, as made, where the piece partly wrapped around the reverse die.(#4971) (Registry values: N491)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23HZ, PCGS# 4971, Greysheet# 4566)
