Description
Pleasing 1905-O Gem Fifty Cent
1905-O 50C MS65 PCGS. A pleasing representative of this often-difficult New Orleans Barber half. The strike has very little evidence of that Mint's standard softness, and both sides are coated in light gray, gold, and mint-green toning that deepens on the reverse. Minor spotting is noted in the field before Liberty's nose. Population: 10 in 65, 8 finer (7/07).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24MS, PCGS# 6502, Greysheet# 6604)
