Impressive 1861-S Eagle
1861-S $10 AU55 NGC. A solid coin for the grade with a bold strike, excellent surfaces and eye appeal and a condition rarity in this lofty state of preservation. Note the even yellow-gold color throughout, the ample curls on Liberty and the problem free surfaces. This coin is identifiable by a vertical nick on Liberty's chin, and a small rim mark above the first T of STATES.
