An Uncertified Lot of State Coppers that includes: 1786 COPPER Connecticut Copper, Mailed Bust Left Fine 12 Corroded, M. 5.4-G, R.2, struck slightly off center, full date but right side legends partly off the flan; 1787 Connecticut Copper, Draped Bust Left VF20 Corroded, M. 37.7-h.2, R.6, widely rotated dies, a scratch and a planchet flaw (as made) near the seated effigy's neck, the borders have bold details for the grade, a scarce variety; 1788 Connecticut Copper, Draped Bust Left VG8, M. 16.1-D, R.3, the date is clear, a worn and lightly porous example; and a 1787 New Jersey Copper, Large Planchet, Plain Shield Fine 12 Corroded, Maris 62-q, R.1, the surfaces are somewhat rough, the horse's head has faint pinscratches.
