1879-S Morgan, MS66 Deep Mirror Prooflike
Beautifully Preserved and Contrasted
1879-S $1 MS66 Deep Mirror Prooflike PCGS. Glistening mint
frost illuminates the sharply struck devices without any disruptive
abrasions, and the fields are deeply glassy and mirrored.
Thoroughly brilliant surfaces complement the outstanding
preservation, providing a subtle cameo effect. The 1879-S Morgan,
being plentiful in non-Prooflike grades, is scarce as fine as MS66
in Deep Mirror Prooflike, and such coins are rare finer. Housed in
a Generation 1.2 "rattler" holder. Population: 69 in 66 (5 in 66+),
9 finer (8/25).(Registry values: P1, N991)From The Ramundo Collection of Morgan and Peace Dollars.
