Description

Bright, Near-Mint 1884-CC Ten Dollar

1884-CC $10 AU58 NGC. Only 9,925 Eagles were struck during 1884 at the Carson City mint. The diagnostic mint-made chisel marks on the neck are well pronounced on this specimen, and should not be confused with a few minor bagmarks in the obverse field. Almost full luster remains over the deep golden surfaces. This is an important Carson City date in the series.
