Well Struck 1860-O Select Dollar
1860-O $1 MS63 PCGS. David Bowers (2006) writes that the 1860-0 is the most plentiful Seated dollar in Mint State due to the availability of hoard coins. Most of these are in the lower Mint State grades, "with MS60 being par." The lustrous Select specimen offered here displays whispers of gray, gold-tan, and blue toning, and possesses sharply struck design elements. A few small marks and luster grazes scattered about account for the grade. Population: 54 in 63, 25 finer (8/07).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24Z3, PCGS# 6950, Greysheet# 7227)
