Description
194? 1C Cent--Struck On Split Planchet--VF30 ANACS. The final digit in the date is not legible, and no trace of a mintmark is evident. The planchet split in two along the rim prior to the strike. The obverse was struck on the 'rough' side. Both sides are softly struck, as the split planchet was too thin to fully fill the dies. An inconspicuous scratch is noted after the T in CENT.From the Morris Geiger Collection.(#2684) (Registry values: P1)
