1901 25C PR67★ Cameo NGC. CAC. Cameo contrast mostly
disappeared from proofs in subsequent years, providing 1901 proofs
extra appeal among collectors partial to this format. This Superb
Gem example receives recognition for the strong cameo effect and
displays the important NGC Star for outstanding eye appeal. CAC
endorsement adds to the accolades. Pale reddish-gold toning drifts
across glittering mirrored fields, deepening at the borders. The
frost-white central devices are sharply defined, noting minor
softness at the eagle's right talon. NGC Census: 4 in 67★ ,
