1907 Barber Quarter, PR68★ Cameo
Contrasted and Eye Appealing
No Cameos Certified Any Finer
1907 25C PR68★ Cameo NGC. The obverse is brilliant and
dramatically contrasted, and seemingly would easily warrant an
Ultra Cameo designation. The reverse is a little less contrasted.
NGC instead awards this coin a well-deserved Cameo designation,
with the added Star for outstanding eye appeal. Both sides exhibit
bull strike sharpness and pristine surfaces. The 1907 proof quarter
is rarely seen this fine. NGC Census: 3 in 68 Cameo (2 in
68★ ), 0 finer (9/25).Ex: Central States Signature (Heritage, 4/2020), lot 3431. (Registry values: N4719)
