Description

German Colony. Wilhelm II 5 Mark 1894-A MS64 NGC, Berlin mint, KM7, Dav-429, J-707. Seasoned collectors hardly need an introduction to the celebrated "Bird of Paradise" German Colonial "Crown", but the beauty of this type is that a brand new coin collector could realize the attraction of such a wonderful piece of "Silver Dollar" sized art upon first gaze. This wonderful near-Gem specimen is lightly patinated with pearl and ivory overtones, though a few pockets of muted rainbow color occupy the outer fields of the obverse. An issue of numismatic royalty, excellently preserved as offered here.
