Peru: Philip V gold Cob 8 Escudos 1718 L-M MS61 NGC,...
Description
Philip V gold Cob 8 Escudos 1718 L-M MS61 NGC, Lima mint, KM38.2, Cal-2129, Fr-7. 26.91gm. An excellent Mint State Cob showing impressive centering of the strikes, a key attribute that seasoned Cob collectors target with precision. The features to the left of the left-most obverse column exhibit some doubling, but beyond that, the crispness of the devices on each side are laudable. A tremendous 8 Escudos that should pique the interest of Peruvian Cob specialists in sizable numbers.Metal: Gold
