half dollar issue is readily collectible through Superb Gem
condition. However, only six coins are graded MS68 at PCGS or NGC
combined, and this example ranks among the finest certified at the
MS67 level by the margin of the Plus designation. This Plus-graded
Superb Gem example also enjoys CAC's endorsement for quality within
the grade. Both sides are lustrous and beautifully preserved. An
important top-graded survivor from a mintage of 31.5 million
