1797 C-2 Half Cent, VF25 CAC
Choice Plain Edge, Centered Head
1797 1/2 C Plain Edge, Centered Head, C-2, B-2, R.3, VF25 PCGS.
CAC. Manley Die State 1.0. Red-steel and blue-steel form the
principle patina of this lovely half cent, with hints of green on
the obverse dentils and reverse leaves. Light abrasions are present
on the upper right and lower left obverse, and on the reverse are
concentrated from top left to lower right. However, all are old,
and none are individually distracting. Five die marriage and
sub-variety combinations make this year a challenge for the
collector. Housed in a Generation 3.1 green label holder.From The Siesta Key Collection.
