Beautiful Aroma of Colors

1825 1/2 C C-2, B-2, R.1, MS64 Brown NGC. CAC. Manley Die State 2.0. Gorgeous chocolate-brown surfaces contain sumptuous hints of mustard, sage, orange, and steel-blue. Abrasions are nowhere to be found. Housed in an NGC Gen 7 holder. Two die marriages exist for this year, with the present C-2 comprising about 90% of the surviving population, according to Eckberg's totals. He estimates that about 50-75 Uncirculated examples survive. Census (C-2): 3 in 64 (1 in 64 ) Brown, 2 finer. CAC: 2 in 64, 4 finer (8/25).
