Scarce S-10 Variety
1793 1C Wreath, Vine and Bars Edge, S-10, B-10, R.4 -- Cleaned
-- NGC Details. XF. Even, chocolate-brown color graces the
surfaces of this Wreath Cent. Significant detail remains, but
moderate to heavy porosity covers the surfaces, although it is
remarkably even throughout. The S-10 is one of the scarcer Sheldon
varieties of the year, and has a distinctive leaf placement that is
only elsewhere found on the unique NC-5, with which it shares an
obverse die.
