1877 Indian Head Cent, AU53
Famous Key Date
1877 1C AU53 PCGS. The obverse features a wonderful
woodgrain texture of mustard and chocolate-brown, where the latter
color more uniformly covers the reverse. Abrasions are minimal, as
is striking weakness. The 1877 is, of course, the key date in the
Indian Head Cent series, with a mintage of only 852,500 coins, the
