1786 New Jersey Copper, MS62 Brown
Straight Plow Beam Variety, M. 14-J
1786 New Jersey Copper, Stegosaurus Head, Straight Plow Beam, M.
14-J, W-4810, R.1, MS62 Brown PCGS. This piece has light tan
surfaces with traces of luster. Minor planchet irregularities are
present, but abrasions are nonexistent. Strike is strong, with
almost full detail on the mane and bold shield lines. The Maris
14-J is a plentiful variety that is rarely seen so fine. Listed on
page 39 of the 2026 Guide Book. Population: 3 in 62 Brown, 1
finer (9/25).Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2012), lot 3982.
