Fully Struck Key Date
1911-D $5 MS62 NGC. Straw-gold with glowing frosty luster on
the portrait and eagle feathers highlight this attractive Denver
branch mint Indian half eagle, a very creative design by Bela Lyon
Pratt. Contact marks are commensurate with the grade, and this
example has a solid strike with excellent detail definition. The
1911-D is a scarce key date for the Indian half eagle
